This morning’s meeting was a good one with some thoughtful input, interaction, and observation. Chapter 4 is en fuego and well worth the time it takes to sit in the chair with your mind engaged. So if you missed the meeting or just snuck in having not read the chapter (of all things!), MAKE TIME TO READ IT. Seriously, MAKE TIME TO READ IT. Also talked about being able to clearly state the gospel in light of the fact that the gospel is good news about what has been done by Christ and not about what we do (not even the good things we do in response to the gospel as the fruit of the gospel). May we not preach ourselves, but Christ, even in our so called Bible teaching (2 Corinthians 4:5). Read chapter 5 for next week (10.26.10). Bring a friend and don't fear, Joyce will not be at the meeting and neither will her moralism.
