Don't Be a Bellarmine!

Bellarmine, the Roman Catholic arch rival of Protestantism understood that the imputation of Christ's righteousness was the foundation for justification through faith in Christ alone. Therefore he rejected it. Unfortunately some Protestants such as N.T. Wright, Federal Vision, and certain dispensationalists are joining Bellarmine in their denials and are thereby assaulting the very foundation of justification. Here is a paper on this important gospel topic protesting Protestants denying the gospel foundation of imputation.

Hell is our topic for discussion next Tuesday morning so remember to read ch.13 of Gagging. We are almost done so hang in there! In the meantime and given that you are part of THEOLOGY for Breakfast, you shouldn't miss Sunday night, May 6th at OBC. I will be presenting a paper addressing a vital matter to the church. The puritanical subtitle is "The Vital Nature of Christ’s Imputed Righteousness and Corresponding Active Obedience as Essential to Biblical Justification." Given the vital nature of the matter, I wouldn't miss it...and I won't! See you at 6:00 pm?
